Speedy deletion nomination of Mersin İdmanyurdu 1975-76 Season
A tag has been placed on Mersin İdmanyurdu 1975-76 Season requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. "Weekly results" section in TFF First League 2009-10
Hi,
first of all, really nice work for all those Mersin İdmanyurdu seasons. Must have taken ages to collect and enter all the data.
However, those MIY articles are not the reason why I needed to drop you a message. The "Weekly results" section in the TFF First League 2009–10 article has to be entirely deleted, as it violates the binding Wikipedia guidelines of WP:NOT#NEWS and WP:NOT#STATS. The results table right under the league standings is sufficient enough for displaying any match results. Since you seem to be a user who joined (the English) Wikipedia not too long ago, I thought I give you a heads-up on this before you ask yourself why the one or another item of an article has been deleted.
If you like, you can join Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Season article task force since you seem to be interested in all kind of season articles. The task force currently tries to create guidelines for those articles, so if you want to assist, be bold and do so! :-)
Have a nice day, Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 13:44, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:Mersin Idman Yurdu SK 70 s- 80 s logo.gif
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Mersin Idman Yurdu SK 70 s- 80 s logo.gif. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 20:56, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Mersin İdmanyurdu Turkish Cup Participations. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. CyberDiablo 13:23, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Mersin İdmanyurdu Turkish Cup Participations, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Bülent Giz
A tag has been placed on Bülent Giz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- mitchsurp -- (talk) 17:22, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Logo usage
Please restoring logos to articles as you did here. This usage violates WP:NFCC #10c policy. If you have questions, ask. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 19:16, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
- Whether or not it can be used freely or not according to you is irrelevant. If you believe it is free, then make that case on the image description page, in which case it will subsequently appear at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files. In the meantime, while it it marked as non-free, it MUST adhere to all aspects of WP:NFCC, including #10c. I am, once again, reverting you. Please be aware that upholding our non-free content is not subject to WP:3RR restrictions, whereas you can and will be blocked from editing for continuing to violate our policies. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 21:39, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
- If four people have removed the logo, it's a good sign that Hammersoft is interpreting the Wikipedia guidelines correctly: club logos may not be used on the articles about the clubs' seasons. Generally, they are on the main article only, unless it's a one-off anniversary logo that clearly relates to one season only. —C.Fred (talk) 22:05, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
- WP:NFCC#10c requires that a fair use rationale be provided for each use of a non-free image. At the moment, the only rationale at File:Mersin idman yurdu.png is for use in Mersin İdmanyurdu. No rationale exists for use in 1997–98 Mersin İdmanyurdu season, so it can't be used there. --AussieLegend (talk) 22:48, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
O.K., I will suspend my intentions to include logos in seasonal pages until a final decision will be made by wise guys on how a history of a club might be indicated by logos. Thank you for your comments. "Red devil 41" 23:14, 14.11.2010.
- (responding to your comments on my talk page; let's keep it here) "Our" and "we" refers to Wikipedia, the community, its editors. As to other people modifying your edits, you do not own your edits. If you are uncomfortable with other people making changes to what you submit to this project, then indeed you are working on the wrong project. I am sorry you find my use of English to be unclear. What is it you are unclear about? Whether those logos are marked as non-free or not? They are. If you look at their image description pages (see File:Mersin Idman Yurdu SK 70 s- 80 s logo.gif and File:Mersin idman yurdu.png) you will observe that this graphic is on them. That means the image is non-free. When an image is non-free, it can be used on Wikipedia, but it must adhere to our policy on the use of non-free files. Is that more clear? --Hammersoft (talk) 14:06, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Question
Hello,
i have a question. Are you Turkish? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Xberger (talk • contribs) 11:08, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
Yes, i am.
- Merhaba,
- senin mersin idman yurdu sezon maddelerini ingilizce vikipedide yazidigi gördüm. biz türkce vikipedi'de artik tüm süper lig ekiplerinin ve 1. lig ekiplerinin sezon maddelerini yapamya karar verdik. burda hangi kullanicinin hangi takimin sezon maddelerinden sroumlu oldgunu görebilirsin.
- mersin idmanyurdu maddelerini simdilik ben yapiyorum. ama ben mersin disinda daha 9 takim icin sorumlu oldugun icin sana türkce vikipedide mersin idman yurdu maddelerini yapabilirmisin diye soracaktim. senin gibi son derece iyi madde yazan kisilere ihtiyacimiz var. cok iyi olur. sana her türlü konunda ardimci olabilirim.

mersin idman yurdu
merhaba,
sana daha öncede yazmistim. senin bu ingilizce vikipedide yaptiginin yarisi türkcede yapsan iyi iyi yazarlardan biri olursun. iniglizce vikipedide mersin idman yurdu maddelerini okuyacak fazla okuyucu yoktur. türkcede yazsan cok daha büyük bir okuyucu kitlesi bulur maddelerin. hem taraftara takimin tarihini ögretmis olursun. iniglizce vikipedi hemen hemen isin doruguna ulasmis. türkce vikipedide daha acilmamis o kadar sahalar avarki. seni tekrardan türkce vikipedide davet etmek istiyorum. seni aramizda görmek isteriz.
iyi vikiler--Xberger (talk) 16:47, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
- selamlar,
- türkce vikipedide cogu seye özen gösterilmiyordu haklisin. ama son zamanlar bayagi birsey degisti ve su an yeni yapilanmadayiz. ben mesela son bir yilda tüm süper lig ve 1.ligde top kosturan futbolcuarin maddesin actim. tüm kalbür üstü takimlara teknik direktör sablonu ve listesi cikardi. benim gibi asagi yükari 10 kullanici var futbol üzerine yazan. bak söyle birseyde yaptik: http://tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kullan%C4%B1c%C4%B1:Xberger/T%C3%BCrkiye_Futbol_Kul%C3%BCplerinin_sezon_maddeleri
- yani byagi degisiklik icerisindeyiz. senin gibi birisine cok ihtiyacimiz var. sen sadece mersin idmanyurdu icin ingilizce vikipedide yaptiginin aynisini türkcedede yap cok büyük katki yapmis olursun, türkiyede gercek tarafdarcilik yok. bunun olusmasi icin millet tuttugu takim tarihini bilmei. buda dört büyükler disindaki takimlar icin mevcut olmadagi icin bilinmiyor fazla. vikipedi cok büyük bir imkan bu anlamda. sen mersin iy 'nun tarihini kayit etki takim hak ettigi yeri bulsun.

Yusuf Şimşek (1938 doğumlu futbolcu)
Merhaba,

The article Ali Kahramanlı has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Wgolf (talk) 00:50, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
