I have conducted a reassessment of this article and found a large number of issues with the prose style, referencing and possible original research. There were so many that I delisted the article. These concerns can be found at Talk:San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008/GA2. Thanks. Jezhotwells (talk) 15:34, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Straw poll on reliable sources for Eurovision articles

The second RfC on sourcing for Eurovision articles has now being running for several weeks, you can view it at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Eurovision#RfC on reliable sources for Eurovision articles. In order to help gauge the spread of opinion and draw conclusions from this discussion a straw poll has been started at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Eurovision#Straw poll. All project members are encouraged to read the RfC thoroughly and then cast their votes as they see fit. Rationales are still encouraged in the main discussion area above the poll, and participants can add appropriate new sources or options to the poll as they wish. The article Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 for things needed to be addressed. Nikkimaria (talk) 23:03, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but it's not quite there yet. Feel free to renominate later. Drop me a line if you have any questions about remaining issues. Cheers, Nikkimaria (talk) 02:50, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Melodifestivalen 2010

Hello. I want you to stop edit this article, beacuase you are edit it bad. I want you to look for the best article, and stop with placing the "artist" column first. If you look at the other tables so it is first "song", then "authors" and then "artist", etc.. /Hollac16 (talk) 21:11, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again. What I mean is the tables that was there before I add the column "semi-finals". In these column it should be song-authours-artist. But in the coulums under "semi-finals" it should be as you added. Sorry for my bad English, but I hope you understand. /Hollac16 (talk) 20:30, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dutch song

Hi, is there a source I'm missing which shows the song having brackets around "Shalalie", Eurovision.tv lists the song as "Ik Ben Verliefd, Shalalie" (I Am In Love, Shalalie) with no brackets, thanks. -- [[ axg ⁞⁞ talk ]] 13:50, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please go on TROS officiel site and you'll see that the title of the dutch song is Ik ben verlieft (Sha-la-lie) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mishko53 (talkcontribs) 22:12, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Slovakia Eurosong 2009.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Slovakia Eurosong 2009.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 05:47, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Je ne sais quoi (song). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Je ne sais quoi (song). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:13, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Song titles

Hi! I'd like to point out that song names are written with quotes around them but without italics in Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style (titles) for more details. It would be greatly appreciated if you corrected any song titles you've changed recently. Thanks! —Quibik (talk) 14:06, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 21:16, 15 June 2010 (UTC) [reply]

Junior Eurovision Song Contest

In your map of the coutries who participated at the Eurovision Song Contest, Moldova is shown in green. Moldova never participated, so it should be yellow instead of green. Can you change it please? Thank you. Wiki Belgium 11:08, 18 June 2010 (CEST)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of OGAE Second Chance Contest 1996, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: OGAE Second Chance Contest 1994. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 17:41, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Dora 2009.gif. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
