[edit]
Hi, the article needs to be neutralised a lot. It looks like someone has made a Travel guide out of it. Especially with regard to the pollution part. The entire SEZ part is bears an anti-industrial POV. I'll do my bit to rewrite it, hope you too can help. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 06:25, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Tiruchirappalli Airport: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you.  Abhishek  Talk 15:35, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

July 2012

[edit]

Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism, such as the edit at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage newer editors. Please read Wikipedia:NOTVAND for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. The edits you reverted were WP:POV. These are not vandalism edits. Please go through the policy to have a clear understanding of vandalism  Abhishek  Talk 17:25, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The ip editor has added the same text to the history section thrice. I did consider using the un-constructive template, however, but didn't quite think it could be labelled as POV. Thanks for advising me, though. Trinidade (talk) 17:44, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

CSI Airport Mumbai

[edit]

I am not sure when the airport opened. I saw "The terminal was made operational in 1980." in the History section and went with it. Could you please edit this with the correct date? The opened parameter was recently added to Template:Infobox airport. I am currently adding this parameter to the infobox of the world's major airports, so that editors from various countries will see it, and hopefully add it to lesser known airports as well in their regions. Of course, if we cannot find the correct date, then it is best to omit the parameter. BigJolly9 (talk) 20:12, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Air Pegasus requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi Trini, I was wondering, how about working on the CSIA article. I think it's best Indian airport article right now, and with a little bit of touching up, has the potential to hit a GA. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 07:29, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Rsrikanth05:, absolutely. Im kinda tied up with work right now, so ill be slow in responding. But lets do this. How do we go about it? Trinidade (talk) 21:34, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
For starters, we need to ensure that all statements have a source. We should tag any such statements with a {{fact}} or{{cn}} till we either find a source, or add the source if we get one. In the meantime, I have noticed that IGI Airport has been nominated for GA. Let's wait and watch for the progress of that to get some ideas. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 09:22, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Refs for commenced routes

[edit]

Hello there. Your addition/restoration of refs for commenced routes from Airline articles have been reverted several times. Please refrain from repeating the same. As per WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT, refs are to be removed for routes that have commenced!  LeoFrank  Talk 14:30, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, okay. I put them there because another editor User:Dharmadhyaksha had asked for more refs in that particular section, so i went about looking for sources. Didn't realise that a MoS specified otherwise. will keep in mind henceforth and ill remove the tag. Trinidade (talk) 15:47, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Dharmadhyaksha: Could you refrain from an airline destination list as unreferenced as you did here? Please familiarize yourself with WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT. All airport articles across wikipedia do not have refs for routes that are already operational and this consensus has been in place for a very long time now. If you still think it is inappropriate, please take it to WT:AIRPORT.  LeoFrank  Talk 14:28, 13 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi User :Trinidade Thanks for your recent edits on Chhatrapati Shivaji International Mumbai Airport's new Terminal-2. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 04:47, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Star Air (India) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Neyveli Airport

[edit]

Wikipedia hasn't ever had an article about this airport, as far as I know. The page I deleted was a redirect, or at least an attempt at a redirect. Some new user redirected the title to Neyveli Airstrip (which has never existed), then redirected the title to itself, and then got frustrated and blanked the page. Somebody else then marked the page for deletion and I deleted it. Obviously there's no point in restoring the deleted edits, but if you think you can write an article about the airport then go for it. Hut 8.5 09:24, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Vivienne Pocha moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Vivienne Pocha, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 13:10, 3 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
