The 2016 New York Jets season was the franchise's 47th season in the National Football League (NFL), the 57th overall and the second under head coach Todd Bowles . The team failed to improve on their 10–6 record from 2015 , and missed the playoffs for the sixth consecutive season, instead finishing 5–11 and last in their division.
Coaching staff and personnel changes [ edit ]
