The Austin City Council 2nd district covers southeast Austin, including Dove Springs, Bluff Springs, and the Austin Bergstrom International Airport.
The current councillor is Vanessa Fuentes, who has represented the district since 2021.[2] She won re-election in the November 5th, 2024 general election with 85.66% of the vote.
