Chanteloup-en-Brie (French pronunciation: [ʃɑ̃tlu ɑ̃ bʁi] , literally Chanteloup in Brie, before 1987: Chanteloup)[3] is a commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France.

The inhabitants are called Chanteloupiens in French.

There are two schools: Maternelle Le Cantou (preschool) and Élémentaire Le Loupiot (elementary school).[5]
