Karin (Persian: كرين)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Palanga Rural District of Shahrud District, Khalkhal County, Ardabil province, Iran.[4]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 539 in 153 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 429 people in 128 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 268 people in 110 households.[2]
