Meansville is a city in Pike County, Georgia, United States. The population was 266 at the 2020 census.[4]
History
[edit]The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Meansville as a town in 1913.[5] According to tradition, the community was named for homesteader John Means.[6]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.3 km2), all land.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 192 people, 73 households, and 58 families residing in the city. By 2020, there were 266 people in the city.
Education
[edit]Meansville Public Schools are part of the Pike County School District. The school district has one Pre-K building (lottery funded), one primary school (K-2), one elementary school (3-5), one middle school (6-8), a ninth grade academy and two high schools.
Michael Duncan is the Superintendent of Schools.[9]
