Storylines

[edit]

Rampage 100 featured professional wrestling matches that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines.[2] Storylines were produced on AEW's weekly television programs, Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision.

Event

[edit]

In the first match, The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno and John Silver) took on The Elite (Adam Page, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson). In the end, Page attempted the Buckshot Lariat but Uno pulled the referee in front of him and Page stopped. Konosuke Takeshita then appeared and distracted the referee allowing Claudio Castagnoli to perform an uppercut on Page. Uno then pinned Page for the win.[3]

After the match, Castagnoli and Takeshita grabbed some steel chairs but Kenny Omega sprinted to the ring causing Castagnoli and Takeshita to leave.[3]

After that, QT Marshall hosted another installment of QTV where he congratulated Powerhouse Hobbs on making Dustin Rhodes bleed and advancing in the Owen Hart Cup Tournament and then congratulated Johnny TV and himself on winning in their tag team debut.[3]

Up next, The Jericho Appreciation Society (Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara) faced off against Jeff Jarrett and Matt Hardy, who were accompanied by Jay Lethal, Karen Jarrett, Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt, in the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament Quarterfinal match. In the end, Lethal and Hardy began to argue in the ring and Guevara shoved Hardy into Lethal and hit the GTH on Hardy but Garcia tagged himself in and pinned Hardy for the victory and advancing in the tournament.[3]

After the match, Hardy was attacked by Lethal, Signh and Dutt. "Brother Zay" Isiah Kassidy ran into the ring but was also attacked. Ethan Page ran into the ring and knocked everybody out of the ring.[3]

Next in the penultimate match, Hikaru Shida faced off against Marina Shafir. In the end, Shida hit the Katana on Shafir and pinned her for the win.[3]

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviewed Kris Statlander who told Paquette that she would put the AEW TBS Championship on the line against anyone.[3]

In the main event, Big Bill and Brian Cage took on Matt Sydal and Trent Beretta in the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament Quarterfinal match. In the end, Beretta and Sydal hit doubl;e thrust kicks on Bill but Bill hit both men with a chokeslam each. Cage and Bill then hit a powerbomb lariat combination on Sydal and pinned Sydal for the win and advancing both men in the tournament.[3]
