Dr of sports1991, I really liked your article. I hope that we can work together on this page. I've worked for a long time researching the article as it now stands. I hope you like it.

Thank you whomever wrote this, as your contribution to this article can enable billions to understand the merger and its history. Dr of sports 1993 (talk) 19:56, 27 November 2008 (UTC) (ps: now Dr of sports 1993 also)[reply]

Thank you for working on it. I had started it, and started putting links to it in other articles, but had not finished it (or even put any of it up on Wikipedia) until your first version prompted me to do so. I would love working with you on other articles in the future, particularly those related to the ABA. There are a lot of team season articles that need work and need to be done . . . if you're game for it I'd love it if someone else were interested in that. I've done a lot of ABA player, coach and team pages; the season recaps are wanting at this point!

error

[edit]

There is a factual error in the section called "Drafting of underclassmen". David Thompson did not leave NCSU early. He played JV as a freshman (as all freshmen did). He then played varsity for his Sophmore, Junior, and Senior seasons. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.51.115.82 (talk) 23:23, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for spotting the error, it has been fixed. — Martin tamb (talk) 17:05, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

American Basketball Association–National Basketball Association mergerABA–NBA merger – This article was moved without any discussion in 2015. I think it's overly long and unwieldy and is very unlikely to be searched by many people. Other professional league mergers articles we have (AFL-NFL merger, NHL-WHA merger) use the abbreviations, not the full name of the league. hbdragon88 (talk) 03:41, 8 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
