Headings
[edit]I suggest we divide the history into three main parts viz. formation (ATC), partnership with SAA and post privatization. Ali Fazal (talk) 11:32, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Air Tanzania leased aircrafts sometimes ago I suggest a change of picture on fleet potion. David ntahindwa (talk) 05:28, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
Article Merger
[edit]- Oppose - I believe Air Tanzania Corporation (ATC) deserves its own article page. It was the flag carrier of Tanzania from 1977 - 2002. It had its own logo, structure and list of destinations (domestic, regional and intercontinental). It was distinct from the present airline i.e. Air Tanzania Company Limited - whose content is included in the Air Tanzania article. Ali Fazal (talk) 17:18, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
- Support. Same entity, no need for separate articles.--Jetstreamer Talk 01:11, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
- Support. Same as above. It already has its own section in the history.Sputink (talk) 12:53, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
The contents of the Air Tanzania Corporation page were merged into Air Tanzania on 8 October 2016. For the contribution history and old versions of the redirected page, please see its history; for the discussion at that location, see its talk page. |
Airplane Orders
[edit]I know the Airplanes that have been ordered from Bombardier for Air Tanzania. However the ordering company is not Air Tanzania but the Tanzania Government Flight Agency, which is a separately incorporated airline. Should the orders show up in Air Tanzania or TGFA? Once they arrive I agree they should be in the fleet for ATC. Sputink (talk) 19:46, 3 December 2016 (UTC)

The current page has pictures of only historic fleet. That's not an accurate reflection of the current states of the company. If someone reads about Air Tanzania from this wikipedia page they may think it's an airline with old leased airplanes.
Kindly update the article with pictures of the new fleet or brand new airplanes owned by the government of Tanzania.

In the current fleet section, under the C column for De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 add "6". Also, for the De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 another sub-row should be added with "10" in the C column and "68" in the Y column. The source for this information is Air Tanzania's website.[1]
