What about a page in Khmer?

Alas, the Khmer version of Wikipedia has not even been started. If you or perhaps others could find some way to start it, that would be a great service to the 10 million or so Khmer speakers! Fuzheado 09:18, 5 Mar 2004 (UTC)
3 years later it HAS been started. And there are 13 million Khmer :) How time flies. Paxse 19:27, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What country and where?

[edit]

What country is Angkor Thom in and specifically where? I can assume Cambodia from being in the Khmer Empire, but there is nothing in the article to indicate that its in Cambodia.--TGC55 (talk) 20:43, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anghor Thome is located in Angkor Area, Siem Reap province, Cambodia. The location have also included in the article.

info

[edit]

I think this article is great, knowledgable and informative. I would say Angkor Thom have many things to talk and describe about. An article could not meantion what it's all about. Hope someone could help to add more information.By Angkor Wat

Is the meaning of the name correct?

[edit]

I cannot be absolutely sure, but I think "Angkor Thom" is a modification of the Sanskrit "Omkaar Dhaam", where "Omkaar" relates to the holy "Om" of hinduism, and "Dhaam" means place. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.110.238.16 (talk) 09:05, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
