I added the reference to the Game Boy game. Just found out about this in an old German computer game magazine (Play Time). (See here) --Darkstar 15:25, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My grandpa worked on this movie.(Gordon Martin Mueller) He said, "I'll work on it, but don't give me any credit."

Removed Text

[edit]

I removed the following text from the article, dont think we should be quoting the complete lyrics for songs in the article but what does anyone else think --Amxitsa 18:21, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Songs A surprisingly large amount of songs appear throughout the film, the most popular being the film's strange title theme.

Lyrics (To be sung like marching music)

Attack of the killer tomatoes!
Attack of the killer tomatoes!
They'll beat you, bash you,
Squish you, mash you,
Chew you up for brunch,
And finish you off, for dinner and lunch!
They're marching down the halls
They're crawling up the walls
They're gooey, gushy, squishy, mushy,
Rotten to the core
They're standing outside your door!
Remember Herman Farbage
While taking out his garbage
He turned around and he did see,
Tomatoes hiding in his tree,
Now he's just a memory
I know I'm going to miss her
A tomato ate my sister
Sacramento fell today,
They're marching in to San Jose
Tomatoes are on their way
The mayor is on vacation
The governers fled the nation
The police have gone on strike today,
The national guard has run away
Tomatoes will have their day!
Attack of the killer tomatoes!
Attack of the killer tomatoes!
They'll beat you, smash you,
Squish you, bash you,
Serve you up for brunch,
And finish you off, for dinner and lunch-lunch-lunch
Dinner or lunch-lunch-lunch
Dinner or luuuuuuuunch

Special Effects

[edit]

This article fails to mention how the "tomatoes" were brought to life. For instance, were they cartoons, puppets or stop-motion? Scorpionman 03:02, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article needs a couple of stills from the movie, for sure. Tempshill 19:51, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Best Worst

[edit]

I know they are probably both based on valid sources, but should something be done about the article saying the movie is thought of as "one of the" best and "one of the" worst movies?

attack of the killer tomatoes killed by critics at rottentomatoes.com... now that's funny. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.84.187.62 (talk) 18:45, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article is really horribly written.

[edit]

Honestly, it looks like it was written by a fourth-grader.--99.224.26.113 (talk) 02:02, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is not unusual for wikipedia. Some of our best contributions is come form forth grade.196.210.142.85 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 13:23, 15 December 2008 (UTC).[reply]

[edit]

On an episode of Attack of the Show, they mentioned some series called "Ask a Ninja" was doing a remake of this movie. BioYu-Gi! (talk) 17:58, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Z Movie" link?

[edit]

This is definitely NOT a Z movie. It fits squarely in the definition of B movie provided both at the B Movie article and the Z Movie article. Removing link. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.31.221.51 (talk) 06:57, 2 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
