its leaving out details

[edit]

this town may have been founded originally by the greeks but after many years of warfare it became depopulated and brundisium was made a colony of Rome in 244 BC. this artical is leaving out that it was made a colony of rome in 244 BC. nearby Tarentum however wasnt made a colony till 122 BC. but not all settlements in classical italy were rebuilt some were never rebuilt and were left as ruins. so i beilve when places were being made roman colonies in italy to be very significant. 69.208.14.63 (talk) 12:31, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

>Pronunciation

[edit]

The article gives "[ˈbrindisi]" as the name's pronunciation, but the audio link to a voice saying the name suggests that the pronunciation is "[ˈbrindizi]"; that's what it sounds like, after all. Which is right? Can somebody from Brindisi clarify or correct this? Kelisi (talk) 20:52, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
