Recommend moving to Chancery Court of York and making this a redirect to Court of Chancery (disambiguation)
[edit]There are several civil courts in the United States that are called "Chancery Court" or, collectively, "Chancery Courts." They are listed in Court of Chancery (disambiguation).
Chancery Court is also listed in that disambiguation page. I took the liberty of moving its entry to the top line of the page and reworking the page so that the terms "Court of Chancery" and "Chancery Court" have equal status on the disambiguation page. That is, "ABC Court of Chancery" and "XYZ Chancery Court" will be listed together if they fall in the same grouping. Currently, there are two groupings: [existing/active] civil courts and "former civil courts." Any ecclesiastical courts with these names which have Wikipedia articles should be in their own section.
Proposal:
- Move Chancery Court to Chancery Court of York over the existing redirect.
- Retarget the resulting redirect at Chancery Court to Court of Chancery (disambiguation).
