During the DensityDesign Lab at Politecnico di Milano, I created an updated chart of coffee consumption for the top 65 coffee-consuming countries in the world. The data, updated to 2023, is sourced from the report A Life of Coffee from Cafely based on figures from the International Coffee Organization. The chart displays, for each country, the total yearly coffee consumption in kilograms, the daily per capita consumption in cups, and the price per cup in dollars. I would like to add it to this page because I think that it could add some interesting and updated information about the topic. Sara Pugliano (talk) 08:32, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
A kind offer. Would you be able to commit to updating it every year? All commodity articles get a year out of date every year, so a one-off approach can't be a durable solution. Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:39, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. I could do it. Actually also the current graphs about coffee consumption isn't updated. The page is semi-protected, how could I add my chart? Sara Pugliano (talk) 13:24, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think we can cite a web store like Cafely, but if you have verified that their numbers match the ones from International Coffee Organization citing the ICO directly should be fine. If you put the chart on this talk page I (or someone else if they happen to see it first) can add it to the article for you. MrOllie (talk) 13:30, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
