More than one "General Kyd"

It seems that most people associate the "General Kyd" nickname with the 1684 cello. However, the Wikipedia article for Percy Hilder Miles states that he left his Stradivarius violin, "the General Kyd," to his former student Rebecca Clarke--and redirects to this page. I found a listing for a "General Kyd" violin, dated 1720, on the Tarisio auction site, and an article from the Linda Hall Library states that General Kyd owned 3 Stradivarius instruments.11 Arlington (talk) 23:40, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
