Needs better formatting
[edit]This page has good information. Not certain on the citations, but it should be more properly organized. It would be easier to understand and find information that way. I don't know this material enough yet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 170.140.105.70 (talk) 19:10, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
Separate topics?
[edit]I agree with the user above, this article has great information although I wonder if ppGpp should be properly distinguished from pppGpp since they have different structures and potencies? [1] Nkmunch (talk) 00:03, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
In the synthesis and degradation category of this article, there is a general explanation of RelA's role in synthesizing ppGpp that sort of sidetracks from the main topic of the article. Since there is relatively high significance of this protein and its homologues, I am creating a separate wikipedia article for RelA. If that article provides enough of the same information with citations, it might be good to remove the passage on RelA and give a hyperlink to the new wiki article instead.
