The result of the move request was: moved. Jenks24 (talk) 11:40, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

– The basketball player receives well over ten times the page views that the baseball player receives. Therefore, I believe that the basketball player should be switched to the primary topic. Hoops gza (talk) 21:38, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Support Move. Since I just remembered that I'm not a fan of disambiguation pages with only two articles listed, since the functionality of having two similarly named topics can be distinguished by a hatnote on the primary topic, that's what I would rather see: I support this move, provided that a hatnote be placed on Matt Howard after the move is done to distinguish it from Matt Howard (baseball). Also, all of the articles that currently link to the two existing articles would all need to have their links in their articles redirected towards the proper target; I'm seeing at least 10 links that currently direct towards Matt Howard on other pages that would need to be fixed. Comment - I see what you are saying but I don't think either of these guys is "clearly" the primary Matt Howard. This isn't Michael Jordan or Mike Schmidt we're talking about, here. Rikster2 (talk) 16:26, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am quickfailing this article on two grounds: firstly, it contains a copyright-violating image (QUICKFAIL #2), c:File:Howard-bi.jpg which has obviously been copied from a team website. Secondly, it is too far from meeting GAC (3a) "adequately addresses main aspects". The best that can be said about the section on Howard's professional career is that it is not quite as poor as its equivalents in some of the other articles Tony has simultaneously nominated for GA, but it is still far from adequate to cover eight years in professional sport. – Teratix 16:38, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
