I received a message that said this page was proposed for deletion. It looks like someone else already fixed that. Who proposed it? The basis was that he was a back up quarterback, but that's not true. Newton started as a true freshman at Kentucky for half of the season including much of SEC play and in notable road victories at Auburn and at Georgia. Newton started during his sophomore season in a bowl game. Now as a junior Newton is the starting quarterback at Kentucky. The box that someone put on this article for Current Starting Quarterbacks of the Southeastern Conference accurately reflects this. Why would this article have been nominated for deletion, especially based on an entirely inaccurate assumption? Why would someone who doesn't have minimal knowledge of SEC football players be proposing to delete articles about them, especially based on erroneous bases? Why propose deletion for an article for which you do not have knowledge of the subject???
