Re-creation again
[edit]Yes, I know this article has been deleted 3 times already, mostly because of copyvio's? (couldn't find the AfD discussions) Music Theatre International is a well known licensing agency issuing many (if not all) licenses for amateur musical theatre productions. It has more than a few links under it's "what links here", including the dab page for MTI. So yah, just leaving a quick explanation as to why i'm re-creating a page that's already been deleted 3 times. Any questions/comments, feel free to let me know. Best Regards --omtay38 05:49, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Speedy Deletion
[edit]This page has already been deleted 3 times prior to this for being non-notable and gets re-created every time. I shall try to add some information to the article that asserts the company's notability. I'll put a response here when I am done with hopes that the page will be re-considered for speedy deletinon. --omtay38 15:22, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- My revisions are done. I could not find as much information as I would have liked on this topic, however, do believe the article at least asserts a bit more notability. My suggestion (because this article has been deleted and re-created so many times) would be to take this article over to AfD instead of speedying it. The final decision, however, is up to the reviewing administrator. Happy editing! --omtay38 15:47, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
List of MTI-licensed shows
[edit]I don't think that the article should contain a long list of shows licensed by MTI. It already contains a short-ish representative list of important shows licensed by MTI, and that list is, IMO plenty long (in fact, it could benefit by being shorter). See WP:NOTLINK. I also think that a separate List article that contains basically a list of all the shows licensed by MTI, would be prohibited under WP:NOTADVERTISING, which says: "Wikipedia is not a ... vehicle for ... advertising and showcasing." Also WP:ARTSPAM says: "Articles considered advertisements include those that are solicitations for a business [or] designed to promote a company.... WP:LINKFARM also says: "Wikipedia is not ... a repository of links". -- Ssilvers (talk) 23:27, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Merge with MTI Page
[edit]I propose that MTI ShowSpace be merged with the Music Theatre International article. This article is just a stub, and after talking to the Director of Marketing at MTI, he feels like the information could easily be moved over to the official article.
