Modifications to the Events and Winners table

[edit]

In the spirit of Wikipedia:Be bold, I propose the following changes to the "Events and winners" table:

  • Separate columns for Men's and Women's Royal Rumble winners.
    • Lex Luger and Bret Hart were co-winners of the 1994 Rumble match. However Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch (and every other men's and women's Rumble winner since 2018) weren't "co winners" of one Rumble match, they each won their respective men's and women's rumbles. Thus the current format of the table is confusing and misleading.
  • Removing the "Final match" column.
    • The main purpose of the table is to list the Royal Rumble events and the Rumble match winners. Which match ended up going on last on the card is largely irrelevant to wrestling history and most of the entries in this column end up being repeats of "30-man Royal Rumble match for a world championship match at WrestleMania etc"
