"In the 1980s, the IRB began to drop its Anglo-Saxon bias," This was added by User:MacRusgail glad to see that a Scot is "on side" and thinks of Ireland, Wales and Scotland as Anglo-Saxon :-) -- PBS (talk) 21:19, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I created a table that put all the Rugby Europe National teams into a table listed by their World Rugby Rankings (accurate as of 26 February 2018), World Cup appearances, and the European tournaments they are currently playing. However, there is still much work to be done as many of the members as listed by Rugby Europe either are not currently playing in a tournament or are no longer existing. Please feel free in adding any information you may have on the countries not listed in the table but are listed as Rugby Europe members
The article needs a lot of revising. Someone has listed the Six Nations implying Rugby Europe have administer this tournament when in fact they have no involvement in it, as specified in Article 1.3.2 of Rugby Europe's Bye-Laws (see Here) The people that administer the Six Nations Championship are Six Nations Rugby LTD (See Here). Another two tournaments that Rugby Europe don't administer is the European Rugby Champions Cup and European Rugby Challenge Cup. Clubs from Six Nations countries participate in these tournaments only. This needs to be made clear for readers. Another wiki article may be created to talk about rugby competitions played in Europe but Six nations Rugby Championship should not be covered as it is covered in the article as it has nothing to do with Rugby Europe — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.0.116.86 (talk) 01:07, 24 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
