With regards to "Ikunirappaa", the second half could also work as a portmanteau of "Lapin [Track]" and "Mappa" (while also being a play on "kappa"). Should I come across texts which delve on the series' conception, I'll modify the creator credit. Wunkt2 (talk) 06:30, 6 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Episode credits

[edit]

Checking the Japanese Wikipedia page, some of the credits there for "lead" positions (episode director & storyboarder) differ from what the official website lists. I don't have time now, but those should be compared with the credit scrolls on each episode, and corrected to match them, with footnotes to point the discrepancies. Hello. I'll be looking over this review. I believe it can pass it but first, I'll see if there are some minor isses. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 22:38, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Some minor stuff that I briefly noted:

  • The infobox is good but in order to be more descriptive how about mentioning the lead characters presented in the image?
    • There are seven total characters in the poster (11 if you count the Kappa-form characters), which I worry would overcrowd the Infobox if mentioned.
  • Per WP:Lead, the lead should be expanded to cover more areas of the article. The two sections lacking coverage in the lead are production and reception. Just provide a brief intro in regards to these section like "Director wanted" "Critics praised the series for...."
    • Added.
  • The Synopsis is easy to understand but I would suggest clarifying that Amakusa is a city like "the city of Amakusa"
    • Added.
  • By any chance did I miss to read the release of an original soundtrack? They might fit in the section when the music is mentioned.
    • Added info on soundtrack and split the info into its own section.
  • Some sections below the first manga are a bit small. You could combine them into a "related media" in order to make them larger.
    • Added.
  • This article might be highly useful to further explain the series' popularity as some writers said it was their favorite of Spring.
    • Added.
  • By any chance did the first DVDs appear in Oricon polls? They could improve more the reception section by adding more coverage.
    • I wasn't able to find Oricon data for the series from any sources I would deem reliable.

These are all the minor issues I found. You did an amazing work. I'll gladly pass it once you ping me and comment about these point I mentioned. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 23:52, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"Cross dressing"

[edit]

I've never seen the series nor any of its incarnations; as such, I am completely unfamiliar with the show.

However, I am curious about the phrase usage of "cross dressing" in regards to Kazuki taking selfies for his younger brother.

My main question/concern is --

Is he really cross dressing or just "dressing up as" (as in "putting on a costume") the character? There's a really big difference between the two!!

Just curious. 2600:8800:784:8F00:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 00:26, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
