Kubrick

[edit]

Stanley Kubrick should be given more credit than appears on this page. The title, "Space Odyssey" didn't appear until the movie, which was written both by Kubrick and Clarke. The movie preceded the novel and many of the most important elements of the series were introduced by Kubrick. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.231.169.25 (talk) 14:22, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(1953?)

[edit]

Why have the series from 1953 if the Sentinel was 1948/1951 ? If we exclude the Sentinel, 1953 seems too early. -- Beardo 13:09, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

Anyone else think the "The" in this article's title might be superfluous...?  Regards, David Kernow (talk) 16:00, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yup. Will move. Cop 663 19:43, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
