Armenian Genocide

[edit]

Check the Armenian Genocide article. It is called a Genocide, there are numerous academics and scientists writing about it. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 16:13, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There are numerous historians and academics who don't call it a genocide. It's an unsettled issue. 176.33.53.10 (talk) 21:42, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that you have a tough stance there. You wanna give us an example of a scholar who does not agree with this fact?. I gave you many here with the article.Paradise Chronicle (talk)

There are plenty of Jewish scholars who deny it, and they are much better historians then Armenian so-called historians full of hatred and empty allegations. Ömer Nasuhi Bilmen (talk) 11:33, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Revisions and removal of unsourced material

[edit]

In case it's not already clear from the edit history, I've made heavy revisions to the article. I started with some basic reorganization and tagging source problems (see this edit). I've added some info, but significantly I've also removed several passages that were unsourced or which had citations to sources that didn't contain the relevant information. Notably, there was a long quote attributed to an "Ayık", but the cited source at the end of it did not contain the quote or mention this name. Quotes are usually unnecessary and if included must absolutely have proper attribution (see MOS:QUOTE). You can look at the information I removed here. If you want to re-add any of it, please include reliable sources. Note that a lot of the information is still present in the article, but in a more summarized form according to the information I could find from published sources.
