I realize this is a work in progress, but I can see that this may pose some notability or self-promotion issues unless you can provide some sources to cite from third parties, such as newspapers, magazines, notable websites and the like. If you have some lined up and just haven't put them in yet, that's cool. This is also one of those type of subjects that can invite problems with neutral points of view, usually when someone else edits the article to fit their views. Iraqs Future likley Scenarios Have your own Scenario

[edit]

I have one scenario to share but as Iraq is a complicated state anything can happen between now and the time when USA leaves Iraq, Please add your own scenarios if you have one.. There are news coming out that Turkish government is trying to resume the Plan discussed between Ozal and Talabani in early 90s, according to this plan Turksih army will replace the USA army in Northren Iraq ( Kurdistan Regional Government)! While we are talking USA is planing for troops to leave Iraq but of course this will create a political vacuum in Iraq and therefore Turkey now is willing to step in and replace the Americans especially in the North where things are much calmer compared to other parts of the country.. it seems now Turkey is willing to discuss this and other likley scenarios with President Massoud Barzani when he visits Tukey this month.. If Turkey and KRG go ahead with this plan then they need to renew the Lausanne Treaty ( When the Lausanne Treaty was signed between Turkey and Britain in 1923, Turkey still maintained that Britain was controlling the Mosul Vilayet illegally) by which Turkey can now claim control of KRG , Kirkuk and Mousil areas as they were parts of the Ottoman Empire before it collapsed.. Furthermore If this happens then two parts of Kurdistan ( North and South) will join each other and they will become parts of the Turkish state.. and Iraq will become a much smaller state.. PKK has already expressed their concerns about the plan but they may agree if Apo(Abdullah Öcalan) their leader is released!! What do you think about this plan? do you think this can happen?
