Thanks! I am a bit busy too, so don't rush, but don't forget to review! After he graduated secondary school ==> "After graduating secondary school"

Because the subject is German, this should be written in British English. Therefore, Holmer criticized the GDR, opposing forced collectivization ==> "Holmer criticised the GDR, opposing forced collectivisation"

later life and death

Nothing wrong here.
