Romanian (Wallachian) Plain is simply ridiculous. It should be "Romanian" or "Wallachian", either is fine by me, but there's no reason to have them both.bogdan 01:27, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Either is pretty much fine by me. I just tied the loop around the variant it had been changed to (no proper redirects etc.), and the current title is fine, or even better. Dahn (talk) 19:09, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merging

[edit]

The article Danubian Plain (Bulgaria) should be merged with the article Wallachian Plain. It's the same plain, so why should we keep 2 articles? The Great Hungarian Plain is also streching over 6 countries, but we have only 1 article about it, not 6 separate articles. --Olahus (talk) 12:35, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Olahus (just did the same thing on the Dutch WP, before I read this).
The page title should be Lower Danubian Plain, I think. Walachian Plain or Romanian Plain seems to be the name for the Romanian part, but may be these terms are not synonymous either: see e.g. the Britannica: In the southern part of Romania is the Walachian Plain, which can be divided into the Romanian Plain to the east of the Olt River and the Oltenian Plateau to the west.
The subdivision on this page lacks a source: I would like to check the border between the sections C and D, the only border which is not a river. But where to find a reliable source confirming this subdivision? Fransvannes (talk) 17:18, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
