Yu NarukamiProtagonist – The protagonist doesn't have a "canon" name, similar to Persona 3 and Persona 5 protagonists. He's a self-insert in the original one and the name Yu Narukami is only used in spin-off titles Dastanovich (talk) 21:44, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 11:46, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. This makes no sense. First of all, there's already an article at Protagonist, and it's about the primary topic to which that word refers. Second, one person's arbitrary choice of the generic word "protagonist" here (rather than "character", for example) to refer to the nameless character doesn't make that the character's name, or even a name that anybody would enter into a search field when seeking information about this character. Conversely, canon or not, if people familiar with the character commonly refer to him as "Yu Narukami", then that name serves as the proper article title based on WP:COMMONNAME. • Oppose Yeah, per common name. Also I think there is guideline that said we should avoid disambiguations in article titles so changing to Protagonist (Persona 4) might be less favorable.Tintor2 (talk) 14:23, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
