Is the idea of this to replace the Template:Protestant missions to Pacific Islands or supplement it? Several of the Hawaii missionaries are not in that template, and I would resist adding them because it would make the box much too big. It tends to dominate the articles it is on, and needed to be redone to be hierrarchical anyway. I would vote to phase out that one and go with this one?

Note I was developing a few more articles that would go in the list, on David Belden Lyman, Dwight Baldwin (missionary), Sheldon Dibble William Cornelius Shipman for example, and had a List of Missionaries to Hawaii article under development. It might make sense to fully develop the list article too, which is organized by religion and chronological order which I found useful. So maybe continue them both? There are also a few more "chapels" that could be added to the list, e.g. Star of the Sea Painted Church and how about Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and maybe even Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo which are fairly historic. The painted church in Kona is also quite notable; I have pictures but not had time to do the article yet. W Nowicki (talk) 22:13, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
