1983-1984

[edit]

The limit of this template is 1983-1984 because the Texas Education Agency (TEA) records only go up to that date.

There were of course many, many more consolidations before then, but the state doesn't have unified records of them (to my knowledge) and this template would be inundated as there were waves of school consolidations in the past. WhisperToMe (talk) 16:47, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A way of getting websites of defunct districts

[edit]

http://web.archive.org/web/19970506074944/http://www.tenet.edu/education/states/texas.html lists educational service centers by region. One would consult the region website which would have the defunct ISD and see if the region website lists it WhisperToMe (talk) 07:34, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like Allison ISD never had a website? https://web.archive.org/web/20040202160145/http://www.esc16.net/?id=3022&parent=3017 // Neither did Lakeview ISD https://web.archive.org/web/19980215105352/http://www.esc16.tenet.edu/district.htm#lakeview WhisperToMe (talk) 08:11, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
