The Mill at Moreton Bay Project

Mill at Moreton Bay Project, is a project created by Moreton Bay Regional Council. It is located in Petrie, Queensland Australia.

The project is being built on 460 hectares of land. Near the recently demolished Petrie Paper Mill. The project will include,

USC, University of Sunshine Coast Precinct
Ecological Conservation Area
’The Oval’ A large sports field built on the majority of the land that the Petrie mill once stood
Multiple Children’s play areas
Upgrades to Petrie Railway station

New road Infrastructure, Including ‘Paper Avenue’ Named after the Mill

Construction Time line

2015, Moreton bay Regional council secured the site for future development after the Demolition of The Petrie paper Mill.
2015, University Precinct launched
2015, Educational University Partner announced
2016, Construction planning commenced.
2016, Demolition if Smaller Disused buildings.
2017, Detailed planning and early construction work commenced
2017, Koala Management ment plan completed.
2018, Construction Of USC Begins
2020, Late ‘Finishing’ Construction Works
2020, University set To open

University

The Nearly Completed University, will cater for many Academic subjects including, Criminology, ICT, Medical sciences, Engineering, Sport and Teaching. The School Will be Hosted By The ‘University of the Sunshine Coast’ The School Will Be Hosted By The USC. (University Of Sunshine Coast)
