T.V. Time

[edit]

I watch a LOT of T.V. too, as well as the rest of you people who probably waste your life on t.v. and wikipedia like. here's a few: (in no special order)

  • Aliens in America
  • The Simpsons
  • Malcolm in the Middle (shouldn't have ended)
  • Spongebob
  • Family Guy
  • Seinfeld (occasionally)
  • Everybody Loves Raymond (Poor Peter Boyle.)
  • King of the Hill (occasionally.)

I also have T.V. one or two episodes of MTV Cribs, 'Til Death, American Dad, Ned's Declassified, Life of Ryan, and the X-Games for my iPod Classic.

Videogames

I play some videogames, but are not a nerd over them, like most people. My favs are;

  • Guitar Hero 2 & 3 (Gotta try the custom song thing.)
  • ALL Tony Hawks (Underground 2, Wasteland, Proj. 8, Proving Ground, etc.)

Music: Artists

Okay. Now for the best part. I freaking LOVE music. I play the guitar (very well,) and the piano too. I have about 1,000 rad Cds and music videos/dvds, and I currently have 1345 songs on my iPod. Here are a few (a lot) of my favorite bands:

  • Sum 41
  • Green Day
  • Blink-182 (No duh)
  • BoDeans (Saw in concert, like 7 times)
  • +44
  • Angels and Airwaves (but hate Tom)
  • Boxcar Racer
  • Simple Plan
  • Motion City Soundtrack
  • Good Charlotte
  • Boys Like Girls
  • Fall Out Boy
  • Houston Calls
  • All Time Low
  • The All-American Rejects
  • Bowling For Soup
  • Counting Crows
  • Panic! at the Disco
  • Gin Blossoms (saw in concert)
  • John Mayer (SAW IN CONCERT!!!) (w. Brett Dennen, and Ben Folds.)
  • Hootie & the Blowfish (in concert)
  • Madina Lake
  • My Chemical Romance
  • The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
  • R.E.M.
  • Nickelback
  • Stevie Ray Vaughan (& Double Trouble)
  • Weezer

And yes, God there a LOT more.

Also, I have no clue how long a page can run on for, but I might be getting to that point sooner or later if I keep posting junk.

[edit]

One of the albums I would probably recommend the most at the moment is Simple Plan's new self-entitled Cd. All 11 tracks are amazing. You can really relate to the situations in the songs, and it has a fresh new sound that anyone could like. I however, bought the limited edition version, which has bonus stuff in the booklet, 2 bonus tracks, and a bonus dvd. Definitely worth the 20 bucks.

iTunes

[edit]

Right now, I want to talk to you a bit about iTunes. First off, it's the best freaking music download center EVER! They have great exclusive material, cool videos, podcasts, games, etc. However, I have become very pissed because iTunes still will not post The Simpsons. I guess I shouldn't complain, for I have the first 10 seasons on DVD. But I can honestly say (and so can everybody else,) that we NEED that show for our IPODS!!! iTunes, however, did post Futurama, which is gettin' pretty close. In the meantime, I had to find SOME kind of funny cartoon series for my iPod. Since all I ever hear anyone talk about is Family Guy, I figured I'd check it out. I watched a few times before, but my parents described it as "inappropriate," when Peter said he wants to take Chris to the whorehouse to lose his virginity. 'Sigh..' So I bought the first season that was recently added on iTunes for a great price of $9.99. Well guess what>? I f**king love it! I also bought the second season for my iPod, which took like, 7 hours to download, but cool! So as i'm waiting for Simpsons, this will pretty much "freaking do." I also would like any other shows in my column added to iTunes. Thanx! Anyway, iTunes also has some kick @$$ podcasts, and for FREE! Definitely get those. Some I recommend are:

  • Hi, My Name is Mark
  • iTunes New Music Tuesday
  • BareNaked Ladies Studio Podcast
  • Cities 97 and Artist Interviews
  • Switchfoot Video Podcast
  • and many more!

iTunes also has really cool games, and if you bought the iPod classic, you got the best game, "iQuiz," for free basically. Vortex is also pretty cool, as well as that new advanced version of Brickball.
