Ifan Wyn Roberts (born 30 January 1981), current occupation is Payroll Senior. He is also a Disc-Jockey and has worked in the field of Accountancy since 2001.

Ysgol Babanod, Coed Mawr

In September 1985, at the age of four, Ifan started infant school at Ysgol Babanod, Coed Mawr where he was introduced to basic subjects such as English, Mathematics and basic elements of Science. He left, at the age of seven, in the Summer of 1988 to progress to primary school.

Ysgol Glanadda

In September 1988, at the age of seven, Ifan started primary school at Ysgol Glanadda on its centenary year where he continued his studies in English, Mathematics and Science. During this he also covered additional subjects such as Drama, Geography, History, Physical Education, Religious Education and second language Welsh. He left, at the age of 11, in the Summer of 1992 to progress to secondary school.

Ysgol Friars

In September 1992 Ifan became a pupil of Ysgol Friars, which is one of the oldest secondary schools in the UK dating back to 1557. During his seven years at Ysgol Friars including Sixth Form, Ifan achieved five GCSEs and a Merit in GNVQ Intermediate Information Technology. Ifan finished Ysgol Friars in 1999 with an award of endeavour from the M.W. and M.H. Pritchard Prizes 1997–98.

Coleg Menai, Llangefni

In December 1999 Ifan became a student of Coleg Menai where he completed a BTEC Advanced level in Information Technology. Ifan completed the course in the Summer of 2001.

Bangor University

In September 2008 after seven years of work, Ifan returned to education with a BA degree in Banking and Finance, which he completed in 2012.

Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd

Ifan joined the Hospital Radio station on 23 January 1997 as a team-presenter for a new weekly children's entertainment programme. Ifan would also go round the wards to collect requests from patients to be played on the programme that broadcasted every Thursday 19:00 - 20:00.

Ifan also contributed to outside broadcasting as a presenter introducing local acts live on stage.

From the years 1997 to 2001 Ifan did Christmas Day special broadcasts for the Radio Station, however, on Christmas Day 1997 Ifan co-presented a programme with Kevin Williams (otherwise known as Kev Bach) on Champion 103.

In June 1998, Ifan left the Thursday children's entertainment programme to join a new team starting a new youth programme called 'The Midweek Mix' that broadcast every Wednesday 19:00 - 20:00. The programme was created by Les Pritchard, who presented on commercial radio stations Champion 103 and Coast 96.3.

By 2003 Ifan could be heard on Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd on Fridays 19:00 - 22:00 but it all came to an end in November 2005 when Ifan left Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd.

In February 1999 Ifan had work experience at the commercial radio station and was also heard on the airwaves during that time and taking telephone calls in the studio.

Storm FM

From October 2008 to April 2012 Ifan was a member of Storm FM and was heard under his DJ name during his time on the station on his show 'Pure Dance' and on one of the five daily editions of 'Breakfast in Bed'.

DJ Onshore

Ysbyty Gwynedd Social Club

In September 1999 Ifan started as a regular DJ for the members of the social club. This continued until the social club closed in 2004.

Mobile DJ

Since 2000 Ifan has been a Mobile DJ for private functions.

DJ Society

[edit]

From October 2008 until April 2012 Ifan was a member of the Bangor University DJ Society where he was a Mentor since the beginning of the 2009–10 academic year. Ifan has been found DJing under his DJ name in the now defunct Acadami, Castle, Fat Cat Café Bar and Hendre Hall, all located in Bangor, Gwynedd.
