[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Vienna Philharmonic has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. The Thing // Talk // Contribs 19:16, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page Vienna Philharmonic. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. Vrenator (talk) 19:18, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Vienna Philharmonic. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Tommy! 19:19, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits, such as this edit you made to Vienna Philharmonic. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing without further notice. The Thing // Talk // Contribs 19:31, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a short time for your disruption caused by your engagement in an edit war at Vienna_Philharmonic. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Please note, JohnCD, that my edit was finally approved, look at the page. It was not vandalism; it was entirely appropriate. It was not controversial in any way. It was very obvious and straightforwardly a high quality edit, that if anyone had been paying attention would never have been reverted in the first place.

Decline reason:

That's not the point; you were blocked for edit warring, not for making inappropriate edits. Hersfold (t/a/c) 23:39, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Oh, OK, I wasn't aware of that restriction. I thought something was wrong with the page and kept trying it over again. My error.
