Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Baha' al-din al-'Amili. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you.

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

My correction was not an opinion. The two persons are different by almost 3 centuries. 91.165.19.17 (talk) 16:58, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This may very well be the case if you have valid sources to back up these claims, however the way you went about creating these edits does not comply with Wikipedia policy. What you added to the page:

There is a mistake. The mentioned "Pen Name" belongs to Abdu'l-Bahá and not Baha' al-din al-'Amili.

is written in a way that indicates you as the editor has issues with the article instead of correcting the article with the appropriate facts and sources. If you do not have sources that would allow you to make this change outright, I would recommend leaving your original message on the article's talk page. If you do have the proper sources for your claim, feel free to edit the information to reflect what you perceive as more accurate, but without the qualifiers such as "There is a mistake." The "pen name" section of the article is wrong. The mentioned pen name was first use by Baháʼu'lláh, and not Baha' al-din al-'Amili. The two are different by more than three centuries. 91.165.19.17 (talk) 17:21, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
