Thanks!

[edit]

I think I've tagged you in a reply at Talk:Stephan DuCharme with some copyediting changes, but I wanted to message here anyway to say thank you. I've been watching the queue numbers for COI edit requests while waiting for someone to pick my suggestions up, and the work you and other responders have done to reduce the backlog is amazing - I hope you know that it doesn't go unappreciated, thank you for helping maintain the balance and assisting those who want to follow the rules. Thank you so much for this kind message, I really appreciate it and it's nice to hear that! I've sorted the issues you mentioned on the article's talk page :) If you have any other issues please feel free to send me a message. Thank you, Encoded  Talk 💬 23:40, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You are very welcome! There was one final missing word I've flagged on the Talk page but after that everything should be done :) Thanks again for all your help. Tashcodex (talk) 12:02, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries! I've just sorted that :) Encoded  Talk 💬 15:57, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help – A. Gary Klesch

[edit]

Hi Encoded, I hope everything is ok with you?

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my COI request on Talk:A. Gary Klesch. I wanted to please ask you a follow-up question on the article and get some feedback/advice – As you will see the article has now been through a rather large overhaul, removing unreferenced information and anything which does not conform with NPOV guidance. With this in mind, I wanted to see if you would be happy removing the tags/boxes at the top of the article?

Everything in the A. Gary Klesch article is now sourced and editors, including yourself, have made large-scale changes to improve the tone.

Do please let me know what you think – excited to read your feedback.

Thanks! Rosalyn15 (talk) 14:35, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Rosalyn15 all is well here, hope everything is ok with you too! I've had a read through the article and removed these tags as I'm happy that both issues have been addressed. Thanks, Encoded  Talk 💬 23:41, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited McCain Institute, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chevron.

The Student Room overhaul

[edit]

Hi there,

I was wondering if there was any chance you might be able to help with my latest request on The Student Room Talk page.

Hope it's ok to message you like this - I'm not that sure of the various protocols, but this seems to be your specialist area, and you helped on a previous request, so I thought it worth asking! :)

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,
You're more than welcome to message me whenever regarding edit requests! To be honest edit request help doesn't really have its own "home" at the moment, but we're working on improving the whole process so hopefully we will soon, but until then I'm happy to help!
I'm not able to take a look right now but should be able to later tonight or tomorrow, I'll message you back on the request itself once I've had a chance to look at it.
Thanks, Encoded  Talk 💬 20:50, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. That's great to know, and much appreciated! ChrisN at The Student Room (talk) 09:34, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Salisbury School Page

[edit]

Encoded, while it is understandable that this is a potential COI and attend the school, it is certain that if I do not proceed with changes, the webpage will never be updated. This a simple history of the school. I get where you are coming from but think that at this point, it is overbearing and termagant. LH440 (talk) 20:48, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, unfortunately there is no way around the COI rules on Wikipedia. If you'd like to you can submit an edit request and someone can review it for you. Thanks, Encoded  Talk 💬 20:59, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you!

Hi Encoded!

Thanks very much for your help with changes to Dashun Wang's page. I really appreciate it. The article is much improved! I think I've tagged you on his talk page (Talk:Dashun Wang) in response to your question and in an additional request. Please let me know if you need any more information from me.

Thanks again! Moose181 (talk) 23:25, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

this isn't really about editing I suppose, but could I write about myself? --VampireEmpire mp3 (talk) 21:13, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
