Deleted Page under U5[edit]

Hello,

My wikipedia page Dm815 was for a school assignment and I would appreciate it if you could provide me with the deleted text as I do not have any saved versions of my essay.

Please let me know,

Thank You Dm815 (talk) 20:18, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dm815. Humor me, how does a full blown advertisement for a non-notable ski company qualify as a "school assignment". -Fastily 01:31, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of user VivaLasAlamos?[edit]

Hi Fastily,

I had a citation to suggest on the talk page of Company CoverMyMeds to fulfill the [citation needed] on that page. When I came in today to do that, I found that my user account was deleted, on the presumption that I would be posting biased information in the future, which while understandable is outside of the terms of conflict of interest, which allows an employee to suggest changes by placing them on the talk page rather than the article itself. There is another such suggestion on the talk page already, (which has been there since 2022 and as-yet unaddressed, I might add) from a different employee (at the time, not sure if still a current employee). The citation is specific to the architect of the building and is a third party source with architectural drawings that may be of interest, not a link to a covermymeds website or property. The campus is the largest WELL Platiunum certified building in Ohio and also recently earned LEED certification (and external citation is needed, and I am working on finding that from a third party), which is a sustainability certification not directly related to selling or providing any services that does have informational value.

In short, while I am obviously limited on the edits I can suggest to the page for the company/companies I work for, I also can contribute on the entire remainder of Wikipedia outside of those few pages, and I feel my user page was unfairly deleted. I am certainly not misusing Wikipedia as a web host nor promoting or advertising a business. I was honest on my page and forthcoming that I am an employee, though not part of the brand or social media team; Editing wikipedia is not part of my job and the logs will show that other than setting up my own page I made no edits with that user.
