A tag has been placed on Darpana Academy of Performing Arts, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Darpana Academy of Performing Arts and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. R'n'B (call me Russ) 00:14, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for submitting this interesting article. However, there are several issues you need to avoid in the future:

  • You must cite reliable sources. I added one for you to prevent the article from instant deletion, but there is a lot of content in the article that is still unsourced.
  • You should try not to use emotional language. I rephrased some content to look more encyclopedic, but especially the last two paragraphs need further rephrasing.

You may want to read through the links in the welcome template above, to get a feel for wikipedia's "standards". Best Skäpperöd (talk) 09:39, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have merged your articles Manbhat into Manbhatt. If you have misspelled a title, you don't need to create a new article, but just click on the move card right above the article title. Best Skäpperöd (talk) 10:41, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Akhila Bharatha Ayyappa Seva Sangham, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.saranamayyappa.org/About_Abass.htm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Hi friend

[edit]

You are going to need to add at least one footnote to P. T. Bhaskara Panicker, otherwise it faces being deleted as an "unsourced Biography of a Living Person." Also, it is unclear what is Akhila Bharatha Ayyappa Seva Sangham, you might help by explaining that. I see from THIS SOURCE that Panicker seems to have been a leading activist in the Communist Party in Kerala, you might make this part of the biography as well. Sorry to be picking at you with all this, but the piece is in danger as it sits and I hope you will find time to do a little more work on it. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Shadow Puppets of India, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.creanara.com/expressions/article/the-world-of-shadow-puppets.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Shadow Puppets of India requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.creanara.com/expressions/article/the-world-of-shadow-puppets. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
