Welcome to Wikipedia, MarquisCostello! I am Res2216firestar and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Those cookies look delicious!

Hey Marquis Costello. Lol. So you've already created an article with citations and clear-cut sections? That's fantastic. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if there is anything you need help with in getting set up and organized here. Cheers, Eric.--Pericles of AthensTalk 21:29, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Same here.--Res2216firestar 04:36, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know right? Doughy chocolate chip makes my mouth water. Lol. Hey Marquis, I added China Wikiproject to the talk pages of your two new articles. Way to go, by the way!--Pericles of AthensTalk 23:22, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I believe I've addressed all your concerns. Ealdgyth - Talk 17:46, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have passed the article as a GA. Regards, MarquisCostello (talk) 18:00, 21 February 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Thanks for your review of Thomas Metcalfe (US politician). I've done my best to address your concerns. If more is needed, just leave it on the review page. It may be tomorrow night before I can address any more, but I'll get to it if need be. Acdixon (talk contribs count) 22:31, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sure! But not tonight. I will busy tonight and tomorrow until about 5:00 pm. After that, I can give it a look. Sorry! I have a really tight schedule right now. I shouldn't even be on Wiki right now, but I'm just checking in for a moment.--Pericles of AthensTalk 05:24, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Marquis! I can take a look at it tonight, since my schedule is much lighter now.--Pericles of AthensTalk 21:56, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I just left some comments. I hope my little contributions are sufficient.--Pericles of AthensTalk 03:26, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've reviewed the article and left notes on the talk page. I've put the nomination on hold for seven days to allow the issues to be addressed. Feel free to contact me on my talk page, here, or on the article talk page with any concerns, and let me know one of those places when the issues have been addressed. If I may suggest that you strike out, check mark, or otherwise mark the items I've detailed, that will make it possible for me to see what's been addressed, and you can keep track of what's been done and what still needs to be worked on. Your tagging

[edit]

Hey. Please be more careful with your use of tags. You have added {{expand}} and {{refimprove}} to several articles where those tags do not belong. The expansion tag should never be added to stub-class articles or dab pages, and if you add it to an article like 2009 Rally Ireland or Kindred of the Dust, you should provide an explanation why the article needs so dramatic expansion that the tag is justified. And the refimprove tag; definitely not applicable on articles like the aforementioned Kindred of the Dust or Allen Zwerdling. Thanks, Prolog (talk) 02:17, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The book source is so solid that I don't think there is any need for additional references. On the other hand, the web reference does not look like a reliable source and should be replaced. Thanks, Prolog (talk) 20:35, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Central Case Examination Group

[edit]
Updated DYK query On March 1, 2009, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Central Case Examination Group, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:22, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

An AN discussion closed with consensus to delist this group of Good articles for copyright and other problems, unless a reviewer opens an independent Good article reassessment and can vouch for/verify content of all sources. Please review Wikipedia:Good article reassessment/February 2023 for further information. A list of the GA reviewers can be found here. Questions or comments can be made at the project talk page.
