Nice work added lots of sourced historic content to the WNOH page. Well done! :) - NeutralhomerTalk • 08:46 on June 27, 2016 (UTC)

Found it while looking for something else and was amazed that CBN wasn't even mentioned in the article. Given the sorts of freely available (as in beer) resources we have, we could have lots of better radio articles if we knew where to look. Raymie (tc) 18:24, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
That's my whole plan for the Virginia radio station articles. Make them look like WINC (AM) or at the very least WKEY (AM). Either way, I'm a tough project. I got sidelined with the death of an off-Wiki friend and sidelined further still with the death of User:Dravecky, who was always a tremendous help in finding those hard-to-find bits of historic info. But I'm getting back to it. Glad you are helping out as well. :) - NeutralhomerTalk • 01:44 on June 28, 2016 (UTC)
Ah, that's sad to hear. I'm used to Mexico - fewer resources, but at least the stations usually don't change callsigns at every opportunity and the vast majority have never changed their calls. When a Mexican station changes its calls, something significant has happened or the station is named for someone. For instance, I was always puzzled by XHLDC-FM in Magdalena de Kino, Sonora. I knew the station had originally been XHIMS-FM Imuris, but couldn't figure out where they got "LDC" from the locality name (most Mexican stations have either sequential assignment, locality name assignment, or for older (60s-70s) FMs, the name of the original concessionaire in their calls). Turns out that the station was named for Luis Donaldo Colosio, who was born and raised there. Really the only Mexican stations with a tradition of changing calls for format are a few isolated exceptions and then the Tijuana stations that sometimes brand with "off" versions of their calls in the US.
