However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Notability of Voice of eye
[edit]A tag has been placed on Voice of eye requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

[edit]I recently posted the following text on Wikipedia regarding the creation of a new Visual arts/Technology-related project in Wikipedia:
WikiProject Industrial design is a Wikipedian community that aims to better organize information in articles related to Industrial design (also called Product design).
- If I'm cor-rec-to, there are about 1850 articles on Industrial design in Wikipedia...
- At least, it's more than for Typography, and there IS a Typography WikiProject...
- And it's more than the Fashion WikiProject with 482 articles...
- There is also an Urban studies and planning project and a Video games portal so...
- Now you can also see a proposal for the Design Portal. (that portal would be for Industrial design AND Graphic design/Interior design)

OK Mr. schluum, now that you're a member of this distinguished club, what do you say you quit your extended vacation (LOL) for some work on the project... We do not officialize the project yet until we have a couple more members but work is progressing nevertheless, as you can observe by going to Wikipedia:WikiProject_Industrial_design/Things_you_can_do. Naturally you can involve yourself any which way you want. But until the 2 first automated tagging operations are done, and since you are a Design whiz kid, I had a special and delicate task I thought you could do better than others: take a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Industrial_design/List_of_articles_uncategorized; those are Wikipedia articles that are probably not categorized already under Category:Industrial design (or a subcategory), although they possibly should be. Your mission, if you accept it, is to classify these articles as Good, Bad or Unclear candidates (for inclusion as 'Industrial design' articles). As you classify them (replace the ?s), you can also immediately tag the Good candidate articles with [[Category:Industrial design]] (or a more detailed subcategory thereof). That action of yours will dramatically boost the count of articles under the project wings. What do you think about that? (this tape will auto-destruct in 10 seconds... just kidding).

I saw you have a good judgment about that; based on a 15% success rate, we should extract one or two hundred articles from that. I understand it may be a tad cumbersome, but remember it is done only ONCE (after that we will be noticed automatically about possible new Industrial design related aticles by a bot). The only one I doubted was the Tesla Roadster but you were right, stricly speaking. Why do you think they put the Category:Vehicles outside of Category:Industrial design (and also Tools and Home appliances for that matter): isn't a Volkswagen Beetle the epitome of Industrial Design?... By the way, are you aware of my other initiative on that front, the Design portal: could you comment on that in the talk page (I'm not referring mostly to colors, fonts, layout, etc. for which obviously there could be various solutions, but to the content areas, which I restricted much more than for my other Portal)? - That's a good question, re: vehicle design. I haven't really decided myself on it. That's a little bit of the reason I'm breaking the list down into categories - it allows me a little bit more overall view of what we're throwing our Category umbrella over. The individual products (i.e., Trintion televisions, Canon cameras) are certainly products of industrial design, but are they essential to the project? I don't know. Now, something like the Tulip chair article which includes a statement like "...the chair is considered a classic of industrial design." Well, I think that's a pretty good fit. Still pondering what our qualifications for putting them under the project heading though. I'm leaning towards items which, rather than simply being generated by an industrial design process (which pretty much every manufactured thing is), are considered either hallmarks of the industrial design movement, or somehow show some impact in the field. - As for cars, I'd rather not go into that, as there is already an Automobiles Project. For the rest, I understand what you're saying but on the other hand I advise you not to be too finicky about it. All articles under Category:Industrial design will be tagged with the project banner as soon as it goes official anyways. A WikiProject is maybe more like a Ford-T plant than a Boutique hotel. Also, it's not as if say the Walkman is essential to the project but the reverse... WP:DESIGN - Scope questions

The first tagging operation of February 13, 2010 revealed some lingering scope questions that we want to discuss with each member of the project:
- The {{WikiProject_Industrial_design}} tagging gave 530 articles.
- We had previously estimated the number of potential ID articles to be around 1850...
- So the difference is this (those articles that Mr. ZooFari did no do with automated tagging but are part of the Wikipedia Industrial design category hierarchy):
- Category:Automobile designers (455 articles);
- Category:Cycle designers (25 articles);
- Category:Motorcycle designers (25 articles);
- Category:Textile designers (33 articles);
- Category:Computer-aided design (510 articles);
- Category:Furniture (around 1250 articles).
- Note 1: Keep in mind there are overlaps, so numbers do not add up.
- Note 2: I had previously decided to exclude non-furniture categories from the ID project because: by looking at some of the Category:Consumer goods articles, I thought they were not 'a good fit' as a whole, although some of them could be included later on an individual basis. (but that can also be reconsidered by the team)
The question is... What do we do about that?
- We keep that situation 'as is'.
- We ask somebody else to possibly automate all the rest of it.
- We reselect some of those categories for automation (which ones?) and do the rest by hand on an article-by-article basis.
As always each solution has its advantages and inconvenients... So, team, what do you think?
