Hackathon -- The National Archives and Records Administration and prof. Andrew Lih, welcomes participants to its hack-a-thon focused on creating an exhibit about Wikipedia for the public and cultural professionals in DC. This is a collaboration between American University class COMM535 journalism professor Andrew Lih and NARA, as part of the planning for the forthcoming Wikipedia Space project. Part of the edit-a-thon will be reviewing the semester's work for creating the exhibit, and also brainstorming on new content for the Wikipedia Space, such as visual displays, interactive stations or other GLAM-related content.

The program is open to the public, and will be conducted in conjunction with a communications/journalism course taught by Andrew Lih at the American University on Wikipedia & Public Knowledge. Contact Andrew Lih and sign up below if you'd like to attend.
