Organization Wants Edit noticeboard
This Organization Wants Edit (OWE, WP:OWE) noticeboard is a place for the representatives of organizations to request edits to Wikipedia. This board is an appropriate first point of contact for any organization seeking to make an edit request. Sections older than 14 days archived by Lowercase sigmabot III.
Some organizations support Wikipedia's nonprofit mission, while others only make demands to the volunteer editors. Which type of organization is yours?

Additional notes: Post your request here first! For any corporate representative who is lost or confused just post here. The Wikimedia community will sort details later.

  • Appropriate requests for this page include
    • "Change this text on the Wikipedia article for my organization..."
    • "Make the Wikipedia article for my organization..."
    • "Change the logo for my organization..."
    • "Edit the article about our leadership..."
    • "I want to have a conversation with someone about my company and Wikipedia..."

Public Art in Public Places

[edit]

Public Art in Public Places is a non-commercial non-profit online archive, references to which many Wikipedia articles significantly benefit from. Public Art in Public Places is an established source of accurate and official public art data on Wikipedia (100+ relevant internal/external links/citations/references to our archival data). A “Notability problem” banner on our organization’s Wikipedia article has been enforced by a single Wikipedia editor since 2018 in opposition others’ edits to remove it. We feel this is significantly damaging to our organization’s reputation, and we believe our organization is the unfair target of a Wikipedia editor’s private vendetta. We ask that this “notability problem” banner be removed from the Wikipedia article on Public Art in Public Places. Otherwise, if this banner is not removed, we believe that Wikipedia maintains an unfairly negative article on Public Art in Public Places, and should remove the article entirely, which would be a regrettable loss to Wikipedia and the general public who rely upon legitimate data.
