Wikipedia:Three steps

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It's sometimes said that a new editor showing up on a noticeboard such as ANI, or cite a policy such as assume good faith "must" be a sock. Either that or they can read. Wikipedians have put a lot of time into providing help and encouragement for new editors; it should not be a shock that some actually RTFM.

In fact it's only three steps from any page to ANI or AGF[1]

  1. Help:Contents is on the navigation panel.
  2. Help links to Wikipedia:Plain and simple
  3. The working efficiently together section of plain and simple directs users to use noticeboards and explicitly mentions WP:ANI, and Getting along with other editors explicitly references WP:AGF.
