The WikiBear (Ursus wikiarctos) is a large omnivorous browser. It feeds mostly on the berries of short edits, which can nevertheless add up to a fat edit count. Sometimes it tackles larger prey, rewriting entire articles. Before tackling larger prey, the WikiBear often spends a long time stalking the article (and sometimes the involved editors) and preparing its attack. If unable to find tasty articles to edit, the WikiBear may scavenge through trash cans filled with bottom importance articles while looking for food. WikiBears are immune to clue inducement as they eat up WikiTrouts.

When surprised by overly aggressive or asinine actions by editors who should know better (such as poking), the WikiBear may become aggressive and attack. It can be helpful to have an employee of John West at your side should this occur.

The WikiBear spends a good part of its life in hibernation, sometimes to conserve energy through a long winter, but often for the sheer pleasure of taking a good nap. While sleeping it digests the knowledge gained from browsing. It emerges from hibernation with a voracious appetite to learn more, though sometimes it just wakes up cranky.

The WikiBear features regularly in Conan O'Brien as we believe that he is the only talk-show host worthy of hosting the WikiBear and you've most probably come searching for the WikiBear after watching one of Conan's sketches on YouTube.
