[edit | edit source]Paleolithic: Earliest known use of stone tools (Homo habilis)... Known as simply "Era". Pretty simple compared to the Neolithic era.
Neolithic: Or "New Stone Age", progression for humans.

- Catalhoyuk, in Anatolia, Turkey, is a Neolithic settlement in which 10,000 people lived there, while nearly the rest of the world were nomadic.
