Lexical roots

[edit]

'Lexical root' is not a valid category as it hasn't been discussed. So, I've nominated Category:Hindi lexical roots for deletion. Also since {{hi-root}} and {{hi-lexical root}} don't exist, all you're actually doing is breaking the entries. Renard Migrant (talk) 12:33, 16 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Besides which, it's unnecessary. The "prefix" and "suffix" are really nothing but the word as found in compounds: in English, we don't have black- or -bird just because of blackbird. Both the prefix and suffix have been nominated for deletion (see WT:Requests for deletion#-राज). Chuck Entz (talk) 14:51, 16 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
MWMKdu wasn't the creator of these entries though, Dijan (talkcontribs) was. Renard Migrant (talk) 15:04, 16 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Of course not. They just spotted a problem and tried to solve it. My message was to point out that there was another way to solve the problem. Chuck Entz (talk) 01:44, 20 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
