You're welcome to add to Module:la-noun the logic you added to Module:la-utilities for the auto-detection of Latin first and second declension patterns and even expand on it if you like. If you do, we could get rid of Module:la-utilities and finally have one single module for the declension of Latin nouns.
Hi, thanks for reaching out. I'd really love to help unify Module:la-utilities and Module:la-noun and expand it further, but I might have difficulty dedicating myself to it right now, as I'm busy on other programming projects. Also, to be honest, I don't really understand Latin declensions that well (I was learning on the fly to make the stuff I did, and still don't really get the big picture). I did try to write my code clearly and with much documentation, to make it easy to modify, and I've added a few more comments to make it easier to follow, so maybe you can extract what you need from it, but let me know if there's anything specific I can help with.
Would be great if we could use the same lua code to generate the body of the non-lemma entries too, e.g. generalizing the declension table code to generate boring entries like gracilī so we don't need to rely as much on a bot to make those entries.
Hopefully I'll be able to help with the Latin lua code more in the future.
Alright, I'll take a look at it, but I'm not that good at Lua, so I might not be able to actually integrate it into Module:la-noun.
